Absolute Test
The only Patented instrument in the world that recognizes the natural Diamond and all its imitations with absolute precision.
0322A/015
  • 100 % reliable
  • It allows to check loose stones, set stones and sealed stones into certification blister packs.
  • It checks stones with whatsoever cut, among those most generally used with weight from 0,02 ct.
  • It identifies Diamonds and all natural or synthetic imitations as Moissanite, Zircon, Cubic Zirconia, Yag, Fabulite, White Sapphire.
  • Feeding with batteries or 110-230V feeder
  • Easy to use: everybody can get a sure response in few minutes

The method of checking, introduced for the first time in the Gemmologic analysis, is based on the cross-observation of Diffraction, Refraction, Birefringence (see below) by means of Laser rays.
schemi
Diffraction

When a radiation (e.g. a laser ray) passes through a crystal, it finds obstacles of different nature (fractures, residues from accretion processes etc…).
The diffraction takes place when the radiation does not go on along the initial direction, but it scatters and loses definition.

schemi
Refraction

It takes place when a light ray passes through two media with different optical density. A variation of the rate propagation takes place in the medium and the ray changes change the direction.

schemi
Birefringence

Some crystals (e.g. silicon carbide "Moissanite") generate a double refraction by splitting the light ray in two different polarized rays that propagate in different directions, although the lay on the same plane.

Detection procedure of the stones with Absolute Test

The cross-observation of these above phenomena makes ABSOLUTE TEST a unique instrument for detection power, data interpretation, quick reading and operation in every situation.
